35. The Moment It is Done

1 O sinner leave the darkened path,
For God has found a way
Where all the lost may safely come,
To heav’n’s eternal day.

Refrain:
For God so loved the world,
That He gave His only Son,
That whosoe’er on Him believe,
Eternal life at once receives
The moment it is done.

2 How long will you reject His love,
And scorn His grace divine,
Your Saviour died to gain for you
The gift you now decline.[Refrain]

3 Each moment as it passes by,
With vast results is fraught,
You may accept, you may reject,
The kingdom for you bought.[Refrain]

4 Believe His word, your sins forsake,
And take th’eternal prize,
Come now, surrender at His feet,
Accept His sacrifice. [Refrain]
