1 I rejoice in a new found gladness,—
Jesus is mine!
Faith for doubting, and joy for sadness,—
Jesus is mine!

2 Wondrous love, that He came to save me,—

Grace divine, that His life He gave me,—

3 Oh, how perfect the peace He gives me,—

In the arm of His love receives me,—

4 With my Lord I have sweet communion,—

And how precious the blessed union,—

5 Earthly treasures will not avail me,—

Friends may leave me, and foes assail me,—
