44. Bring Your Sin to Jesus

1 Are you laden down with sin?
bring your sin to Jesus.
Have you enemies within?
Bring them all to Jesus.
You need never be dismayed
While on Him your heart is stayed,
Oh, then do not be afraid,—
Put your trust in Jesus.

Refrain:
Come to Jesus, weary one,
Trust Him till this life is done;
Then He’ll take you to His home,
If you’re true to Jesus!

2 Does your heart grow faint with fear?
Give your heart to Jesus.
Do your cares make living drear?
Cast them all on Jesus.
When you humbly bow in pray’r,
Ask Him then to take your care;
He will keep you ev’rywhere,
While you trust in Jesus. [Refrain]

3 Have you doubts that make you sigh?
Bring your doubts to Jesus;
They will vanish when He’s nigh,
Simply trust in Jesus.
Now He’s pleading with your soul,
Wants to save and make you whole,
All your life He will control,—
You shall live in Jesus. [Refrain]

4 Jesus came into my heart;
Bless the name of Jesus!
Bade my inbred sin depart;
Bless the name of Jesus!
Banished fear, yes, ev’ry bit,
Sanctified me, ev’ry whit,
Now within the veil I sit;
O sweet rest in Jesus. [Refrain]
