955. When the Ransomed Get Home

1 When the ransom'd get home to that land fair and bright,
Where the lov'd ones now wait 'mid the scenes of delight,
What a joy it will be to be numbered up there,
With the faithful and true, in that home bright and fair.

Refrain:
When the ransom'd get home, what a joy it will be,
To be gathered up there, blessed Saviour, with thee,
Where no partings e'er come, and we nevermore roam;
In that beautiful land, when the ransom'd get home.

2 When the ransom'd shall rise to the glorious bliss,
Of that land far away, fairer, brighter than this;
What a shouting will sound thro' heaven's fair dome,
On that beautiful shore, when the ransom'd get home. [Refrain]

3 When the ransom'd cross o'er to the bright golden plains,
What a beautiful song, what melodious strains,
Will be wafted away 'mid the domes of the sky,
When the ransom'd get home in the sweet by and by. [Refrain]
