364. Splendour and Honour

1 Splendour and honour, majesty and power,
are Yours, O Lord God, fount of every blessing,
for by your bidding was the whole creation
called into being.

2 Praised be the true Lamb, slain for our redemption,
by whose self-off'ring we are made God's people:
a priestly kingdom, from all tongues and nations,
called to God's service.

3 To the Almighty, throned in heavenly splendour,
and to the Saviour, Christ our Lamb and Shepherd,
be adoration, praise, and glory given,
now and for ever.
