Text: | Almighty Maker, God |
1 Almighty Maker, God!
How wond'rous is thy name!
Thy glories now diffus'd abroad
Through the creation's frame!
2 Nature in ev'ry dress,
Her humble homage pays;
And does a thousand ways express
her undissembled praise.
3 Our sols would rise and sing
Our Great Creator, too;
Fain would our tongues adore our King,
And pay the homage due.
4 Let joy and worship spend
The remnant of my days,
And to my God our souls ascend
In grateful songs of praise.
