1 O the Lord has need of children in His service,
He has something for each little one to do;
He is calling for the faithful and the willing,
He is calling for brave hearts and true.

Then be up, up, up, up and doing,
With hearts ever brave and true;
Take your place in the race,
Find the work that is waiting for you.

2 There is need of little soldiers in the battle,
For the hosts of sin are rising in their might;
Then arise and join the valiant little army,
Wage a warfare for good and for right. [Refrain]

3 There is need of little workers in the harvest,
For the grain is ripe and ready for the yield;
Then arise and join His band of little workers,
Go ye forth to the great harvest field. [Refrain]
