1 There sounds a call
To one and all,
In ev’ry land,
Who at their King’s command
May dare to take their stand,
With armour bright, to stand for right,
No foe to dread;
By faith to see
That Victory
Lies just ahead.

Refrain:
Bravely stand at God’s command
He is our Defender.
Boldly fight, the cause is right,
Never to surrender,
Faith to be our shining shield,
Hope shall cheer, we cannot yield,
While the sword of truth we wield,
So bravely stand.

2 In armour clad,
With spirits glad,
To battle go,
Our Captains strength to show
And evil hosts o’erthrow;
Tho foes combine, on strength Divine
We will depend,
And bravely stand,
A mighty band,
Unto the end. [Refrain]

3 For those who dare
The conflict share,
There waits a crown,
A bright and starry crown,
When burdens are laid down;
And peace is there, beyond compare,
Which ne’er shall end,
So bravely stand,
At God’s command,
His truth defend. [Refrain]
