1 Spring has come for us today!
Christ has burst his prison,
and from three days' sleep in death
like the sun has risen.
All the winter of our sins,
long and dark, is dying:
welcome now the light of Christ,
life and joy supplying!

2 Alleluia! let us sing
to our king immortal
who in triumph broke the bars
of the tomb's dark portal.
Alleluia! to our God,

to your holy name be praise,
