1 I can sing the wondrous story,
Since the Comforter is mine;
I can tell of Jesus’ glory,
Of His grace and love divine.

Since the Comforter is mine,

There is peace within my heart,
And it never will depart,
Since the Comforter is mine.

2 Now I claim a full salvation,
Since the Comforter is mine;
Justified from condemnation,
Through His grace and pow’r divine. [Refrain]

3 All my task and toil is lighter,
Since the Comforter is mine;
And the way keeps growing brighter,
Walking in the light divine. [Refrain]

4 All the clouds have silver lining,
Since the Comforter is mine;
And His love, the storm outshining,
Bears me on realms sublime. [Refrain]
