1 Tho’ but two or three are gathered in His name,
Jesus will be there;
Jesus will be there.
And His promised blessing every soul may claim;
Jesus will be there to bless us.
He has promised to send us the Holy Ghost:
He’ll be there to bless us!

He is ever present when we need Him most;

2 When the tempter comes to lure us from the way,
Jesus will be there;

If we trust His grace, we’ll never, never stray;
Jesus will be there to help us.
He has promised to send us the Holy Ghost:

He is ever present when we need Him most;

3 When the tempest gathers, and the waves roll high,
Jesus will be there;
Jesus will be there.
When the clouds hang darkest in the western sky,
Jesus will be there to guide us.
He has promised to send us the Holy Ghost:
He’ll be there to bless us!

He is ever present when we need Him most;

4 When we reach our home beyond the crystal tide,
Jesus will be there;

He will bid us welcome, seat us at His side,
Sharing with us joys eternal.
He has promised a mansion for you and me;
He’ll be there to meet us!
He’ll be there to greet us,
When the morning dawns, and earthly shadows flee,
He’ll be there, He’ll be there to bless us.
