PCXXXIIIb. Behold how good it is

1 Behold how good it is,
and what a pleasing sight.
When brethren dwell in love
and cordially unite;
When all agree
to act their part
as with one heart
In charity.

2 'Tis like the precious oil
that gave a fragrant smell;
Which pour'd on Aaron's head,
adown his locks it fell;
From whence it shed
along his breast
down to his vest,
And odours spread.

3 Or as refreshing dew
on Hermon's mount distills;
Or like the drops that shine
on Zion's joyful hills.
The LORD on high
there blessing gives,
and bliss that lives
Eternally.
