1 There are gloomy paths along the way,
There are souls that in the darkness stray;
We may lead them into God’s clear day,—
O let us shine for Jesus!

2 There are hearts that feel their weight of sin,

In the life divine there is no night,—

4 May our lives each day His spirit show,
