92. His Grace is Sufficient for Thee

1 Art thou wearied with toil and with care?
Doth thy load seem too heavy to bear?
Art thou longing from these to be free?
His grace is sufficient for thee.

Refrain:
His grace is sufficient for thee,
Yes, his grace is sufficient for thee;
Whatsoever thy lot here may be,
His grace is sufficient for thee.

2 Art thou weak and for strength dost thou sigh?
Art thou lone and for aid dost thou cry?
Seemeth God not thy pleading to heed?
Sufficient his grace for thy need. [Refrain]

3 Have the ones thou didst trust proved untrue?
Are there thorns where the sweet flowers grew?
Have the clouds all thy sky overcast?
Sufficient his grace to the last. [Refrain]

4 Yes, his grace will sustain thee thru life,
In the calm or the wild tempest strife;
And at last when thou treadest the vale,
His grace even there shall not fail. [Refrain]
