d1A charge to keep I have, A God to glorify
d2A city, glorious as the sun
d3A few more days or years at most,
d4A home in heaven, what a joyful thought
d5A ruler came to Christ on earth
d6A voice from the savage, a voice from the slave
d7Again, indulgent Lord, return
d8Again our earthly cares we leave
d9Again the Lord of life and light
d10Ah, whither should I go
d11All glory and praise to Jesus our Lord
d12All hail the power of Jesus' name, Let angels prostrate fall
d13All nature feels attractive power
d14All powerful, self existent God, Who all creation dost sustain
d15All who through Christ, the living way
d16Almighty God, thy [your] word is cast [sown, spread]
d17Along the smooth and slender wires
d18Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, That saved
d19Amid the splendors of the sun
d20Among the mountain trees
d21Among the sons of men
d22And is the gospel peace and love
d23And let this feeble body fail
d24And will not Jesus hear
d25And will the Judge descend [ascend]
d26Angel [Angels], roll the rock [stone] away
d27Angels ministered to Jesus
d28Approach, my soul, the mercy seat
d29Arise, and hail the sacred day
d30Arise, my soul, arise, shake off
d31Arrayed in clouds of golden light
d32As body when the soul has fled
d33As flows the rapid river
d34As lightly and sweetly we tread
d35As on the cross the Savior hung
d36As pants the hart for living streams
d37As the sweet flower, which scents the morn
d38Asleep in Jesus, blessed sleep
d39At Jacob's well a stranger sought
d40Attend, ye children of your [our] God
d41Attend, young friends, while [whilst] I relate
d42Awake, and sing the song of Moses and the Lamb
d43Awake, my soul, in [to] joyful [joyous] lays
d44Awake my soul, stretch every nerve
d45Awake, ye saints, and raise [lift] your eyes
d46Away from his home and the friends of his youth
d47Backsliders, who your misery feel
d48Banish each doubt and care
d49Be it my only wisdom here
d50Be joyful in God, all ye lands
d51Be thou, O God, exalted high
d52Before Jehovah's awful throne
d53Before the heavens were spread abroad
d54Behold a sinner, gracious Lord

d64Beneath our feet and o'er our head
d65Beyond where Cedron's [Kedron's] waters flow

d67Blest are the humble souls that [who] see
d68Blest are the sons of peace
