Text Information:

Though it may have originated as a royal marriage ode, Psalm 45 has come to be understood in both Jewish and Christian traditions as having messianic overtones, and it is quoted that way in Hebrews 1:8–9. This 20th-century paraphrase skillfully maintains that double application.
