212. Unto the Hills I Lift My Eyes

Unto the hills I lift my eyes
To find the help my Lord supplies,
The maker of both heaven and earth
Has given me eternal worth.

My God will not allow my feet
To slip or wander in defeat,
God watches all who are God's own
For to our Lord each one is known.

The shade of God rests on each hand
The sun and moon at God's command
We need not fear or feel alarm
For God will keep us from all harm.

God watches all with gracious care
The days of life we know and share,
Our going out and coming in
For what will be and what has been.
