Transcribing Fraktur

Both the "Hymns" and the "Texts" tabs advertise a hymn beginning "A and O, Anfang und Ende". I was expecting a macaronic text, but no, it's just "A und O..." mistranscribed. The whole record, I guess, may need to be transcribed to a new record; or maybe just that one word, in the two places I see it occurring, needs to be changed? Incidentally, and oddly, if I search for "a und o" it comes up, but alphabetized after all the true "a und o" occurrences...

I'm not sure that's a misprint. Granted, "A and O" is no more English (or German) than, say, "Hallelujah! Amen" -- but it's not all that unusual as a Latinization/Germanization of "alpha and omega" and I've seen it in a number of hymns translated from the German--most recently "How lovely now the Morning Star/Sent forth by God from heaven afar" (the Schutz text, not the better-known Nicolai text starting with the same line, coming soon to CCEL in translation by F. E. Cox).

The hymn, so far, comes from one hymnal "Die Pilgerharfe," which we have page scans for, and it is clearly "A und O" An unfocused American editor mistyped it.
