CORONATION
A powerful concertato on CORONATION, scored for organ and brass (always independent of each other), timpani, choir, and assembly.
After two stanzas in which the tune predominates, first in unison, then with a descant, the key and meter change and the choir sings totally new and interpretive music for stanza 3.
Back to the original key, meter, and tune for the final stanza, carried by the assembly and ATB voices with a soprano descant, until the choir explodes into a 4-part descant for the final eight measures.
