A venerable and familiar text (“Earth has many a noble city…”) is set to an expressive new tune by Robert A. Hobby, and is perfect for the Epiphany season. It was premiered in January 2012 by Bach for the Sem at the Lutheran School of Theology, Chicago. An orchestral accompaniment (strings, single woodwinds) is also available.
