Description

I spent time today cleaning up the meters via CocoaMySQL. Based on that I have a few ideas. The first is that we need a better meter browse layout. (By the way, I don't know if we discussed eliminating the meter browse in the new interface, but I think we'd better keep it. Meters--with all their repeats and alleluias--are very hard to search.) Currently it looks like this:

3 4 5 6 6.6.8.6 (SM) 7 8.3 8.4 8.5 8.6.8.6 (CM) 8.6.8.6 (CMD) 8.6 8.7 8.8 8.8.8.8 (LM) 9 10 11 12 13 14 Irregular Chant

Let's change it to this:

3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 6.6.8.6 (SM) | 7 | 8 | 8.6.8.6 (CM) | 8.6.8.6 D (CMD) | 8 | 8.8.8.8 (LM) | 9 | 10 | 11 | 12 | 13 | 14 | Irregular (We could possibly lump CM and CMD together)

When you click on almost any of these, there are too many pages of returns to be useful. Can we have another row of numbers appear underneath each basic choice? For example, I click on "7" and a row appears with choices like this:
| 7.3... | 7.4... | 7.5... | etc.
Even better, have the above displayed dependent on how many returns there are. So 7.6.7.6 and 7.6.7.6 D may have their own listing, while all the 7.3s are lumped together under the heading "7.3..."

It's important that the categories don't overlap. For example, hymns with the meter 8.6.8.6 should only appear in that category, but not "8" or "8.6.8.6 D"

These changes will make the meter listings much easier to navigate.
