When information is in the index but not on the hymn page

A hymnal, on the regular hymn page, has the composer's name but not the hymn tune. There is an index of First Lines that gives the Tune Name. Another hymnal has the tune name on the regular hymn page but not the composers or sources, but these are given in the Index of Tunes.

Should I include this information in the Hymnary instance information for these hymnals?

Why not?

I would think that would be much more sensible than not listing it here at all.

True to the printed page

We want to make sure that the information on a hymn instance is true to the printed page--that the author of a hymn is as listed on the printed page. Now these are borderline cases, I suppose, with the information is in the index but not on the hymn page.

My take would be to connect the instance to the tune using the name given in the index, but not to add the composer or source to the tune instance. Presumably this information will already be included in the authority record for the tune. If not, it could be added in the "notes" section.
