I have a copy in PDF that apparently came from Google Books, but it's copyright 1897, not 1891. If that would suffice for your purposes I'd be happy to email it to you (but it's a big file, more than 20 megabytes). It's a great source for German versions of Fanny Crosby hymns.

Evangeliums Lieder - difference?
Do you know what the difference is between the 1890/1 and the 1897 editions? The latter (in my copy anyway) bills itself as Evangeliums Lieder 1 und 2, and I speculate (but do not know) that "1" might be the 1891 material and "2" whatever has been added in 1897. But of course it's possible that significant editorial changes were made to the earlier songs in the later edition.

to perusing your findings. Rauschenbusch is a great figure in my (liberal Northern Baptist) circles, but his contributions to hymnody (partly, but not entirely, because the main ones are in German) too often go unnoticed.
