Duplicate hymn numbers - different tunes

What is the procedure for duplicate hymn numbers in the hymnal? How should this be entered in the spreadsheet? Working on the Hymnbook 1955 and there are a number of duplicates such as #29 which has 2 seperate tunes.

When there is more than one tune for the same hymn number or duplicate hymn numbers, add letters to the number, as in 29a, 29b, 29c...
