Albert J. Farnsworth is a Methodist minister living in Holloway, Matlock, Derbyshire, England. He has long been interested in hymns, and has written a considerable number. His volume, "Daybreak in Galilee" contains hymns and devotional verse. At present, he is versifying the Psalms, and the above hymn is his version of Psalm 147.
