Representative Text

1 I am walking thro’ this earth-life,
Often weary, often sad;
But my Saviour walketh with me,
And His presence makes me glad.

Refrain:
Jesus knoweth every sorrow,
Jesus knoweth every fear;
And He whispers thro’ life’s shadows,
“Do not tremble, I am near!”

2 I am trav’ling to a city
Where the light is never dim,
And my Saviour leads so gently,
It is sweet to walk with Him. [Refrain]

3 I am looking for redemption
Thro’ the merits of my King;
Blessed beams of free salvation
Shine about me as I sing. [Refrain]
