for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 Give praise unto the God of gods;
for his mercy endureth for ever.
3 Give praise unto the Lord of lords;
for his mercy endureth for ever.
4 Who only doth great wondrous works;
for his mercy endureth for ever.
5 Who by his wisdom made the heav'ns;
for his mercy endureth for ever.
6 Who on the waters stretch'd the earth;
for his mercy endureth for ever.
7 Who made great lights to shine abroad;
for his mercy endureth for ever.
8 The sun to rule the lightsome day;
for his mercy, &c.
9 The moon and stars to rule the night;
for his mercy endureth for ever.
10 Who Egypt smote with the first-born;
for his mercy endureth for ever.
11 And Israel brought out from thence;

12 With mighty hand and out-stretch'd arm;

13 Who cut the Red-sea in two parts;
