O Thou who by a star didst guide

Representative Text

1 O God, who by a star did guide
The Wise Men on their way,
Until it came and stood beside
The place where Jesus lay.

2 Although by stars you do not lead
Your servants now below,
Your Holy Spirit, when they need,
Will show them how to go.

3 As yet we know you but in part,
But still we trust your word
That blessed are the pure in heart,
For they shall see the Lord.

4 O Savior, give us then your grace
For pure in heart we'd be,
That we may see you, face to face,
Through all eternity.

Amen.

So Neale spent the years between 1846 and 1866 as a warden of Sackvi… Go to person page >
