1842 - 1926 Person Name: O. A. Ottander Author of "Trust in the Savior, O precious soul" Ottander, Otto Alfred. (Edshult, Sweden, October 6, 1842--June 30, 1926). Lutheran. Studied at Uppsala University. Ordained in 1870. Pastorates at Hässelby, Norrköping, and Östervåla. For six years was chairman of the East Småland's Mission Society and editor of its monthly. Wrote a number of hymns which were published in several editions between 1877 and 1880 under the title Sjunger Herranom alla land (Sing to the Lord, All Nations). A final edition appeared in 1885 with the title Korsblomman (The Cross Flower).
