the pious for his own:
The Lord will hear me when to him
I make my humble moan.
4 Stand ye in awe, and sin no more;
consider seriously,
Within your hearts with silence deep,
as on your beds ye lie.
5 The sacrifice of righteousness
let freely off'red be;
And therewith place your confidence
upon the LORD do ye.
6 While multitudes enquiring are,
who'll cause us good to see?
The light, LORD, of thy countenance
let on us lifted be.
7 Thou giv'st more gladness in my heart
than their's in times wherein
Their harvest-corn and their new wine,
have much increased been.
8 In peace with Him I will lie down,
and I my sleep will take;
For me in confidence to dwell,
