85. Take Your Troubles to Jesus

1 Have you any burdens, have you any grief?
Take them all to Jesus, He will give relief;
Jesus knows the trouble when the teardrops start,
He can see the secret hidden in your heart.

Refrain:
Take your troubles to Jesus, weary and oppressed,
Take your troubles to Jesus, burdened and distressed;
Take your troubles to Jesus, He will give you rest,
You will find a blessing,
Take your troubles to Him.

2 You can find a blessing, there is joy complete,
Living in His presence, sitting at His feet;
In His glorious sunlight, clouds will disappear,
And the sky is brighter when the Lord is near. [Refrain]

3 Do your friends grow weary with your tale of woe,
Do you feel forsaken ev’rywhere you go?
There is One who loves you, hear His loving call,
Tell Him all your troubles He will bear them all. [Refrain]

4 Do not feel discouraged, you need not despair,
Jesus waits to bless you at the place of pray’r;
There in sweet communion comfort you will find,
Hope and peace eternal for your troubled mind. [Refrain]
