The Lord my Shepherd is, I shall be well supplied

Author: Isaac Watts, 1674-1748 Hymnal: Service Book and Hymnal of the Lutheran Church in America #526 (1958) Lyrics: 1 The Lord my Shepherd is, I shall be well supplied; Since he is mine and I am his, What can I want beside? 2 He leads me to the place Where heavenly pasture grows, Where living waters gently pass, And full salvation flows. 3 If e’er I go astray, He doth my soul reclaim, And guides me in his own right way, For his most holy Name. A-men. 4 While he affords his aid, I cannot yield to fear; Though I should walk through death’s dark shade, My Shepherd’s with me there. 5 In sight of all my foes Thou dost a table spread; My cup with blessing overflows, And joy exalts my head. 6 The bounties of thy love Shall crown my following days; Nor from thy house will I remove, Nor cease to speak thy praise. Amen. Topics: Holy Communion; The Life In Christ Comfort and Rest; The Life In Christ Pilgrimage Languages: English Tune Title: THATCHER

Author: Isaac Watts (1674-1748) Hymnal: Christadelphian Hymn Book #11 (2002) First Line: The Lord my Shepherd is, I shall be well supplied Lyrics: 1 The Lord my Shepherd is, I shall be well supplied; While He is mine, I His, what can I want beside? He leads me to the place where heav'nly pasture grows, Where living waters pass, and free salvation flows. 2 He leads for mercy's sake in paths of truth and grace: Yeah, for His Holy Name, guides me in righteous ways. While He affords His aid, I will not yield to fear; Though through death's value I walk, my Shepherd's with me there. 3 In spite of all my foes, God doth my table spread; My cup with love o'erflows, and joy lifts up my head. His bounty and His care soothe my declining days; I'll dwell for ever in His house, and speak His praise. Topics: The Psalms Scripture: Psalm 23 Languages: English Tune Title: GREATHED
