5 Wer hat dich bisher geleitet,
Und geführt auf ebner bahn?
We den tisch dir zubereitet,

6 Er hat dich ihm selbt bersöhnet,
Mit dem blute Jesu Christ;
Mit barmherzigkeit gekrönet;

7 Preise nun vor allen dingen
Solchen reichtum seiner güt;
Du mußt ihm dankopfer bringen
Mit inbrünstigem gemüth:

8 Er betrübet nie von herzen,
Wenn er züchtigt, die er liebt.
Er stillt alle ihre schmerzen,

9 Darum laß dir deinen glauben
Und di frohe zuversicht
Keine nacht des creutzes rauben,
Warte, dis dein licht anbricht:
Auf den blitxz und donnerschlag

10 Sieh, dein helfer streckt die armen
So gar liebreich nach dir aus,

Fahr im glauben freudig zu,
