Representative Text

1 All hail the glorious Christmas morn,
The day on which our Christ was born;
Ring out, ye bells, the gladsome strains,
From northern heights to southern plains.

Refrain:
Ring, ye bells, ring ye bells!
Ring with glad and joyful chime!
Ring, ye bells, ring ye bells!
’Tis the happy Christmas time!

2 Ring out from steeple, tower and dome,
Ring every weary wanderer home;
Send for the song from hill to hill,
On earth glad tidings and good will. [Refrain]

3 Ring on, ye bells, ring loud and long,
Ring in the good, ring out the wrong;
Ring joy and peace and Christmas cheer,
To every heart throughout the year. [Refrain]
