Upon the thirsty ground,
So shall refreshing show’rs of grace
Be poured in plenty round.

Send show’rs of blessing,

O Lord, from above,
In thy wonderful love,

2 The Word of God assures our hearts,
We cannot plead in vain;
The Lord shall brighten all the clouds
And send the needed rain. [Refrain]
