As to His earthly parents' home. H. Alford. [Epiphany.] Composed in 1865 for and first published in his Year of Praise, 1867, No. 36, in 4 stanzas of 4 lines, and appointed for the "First Sunday after Epiphany." In 1879 it was transferred from thence to the Methodist Sunday School Hymn Book, No. 144, in an unaltered form. It is also in other collections, including the American Hymns for the Church, N. Y., 1869, No. 130.
