Full Text

1. Away, away to Sunday school,
Our hearts together beating;
We haste to win from those we love
A smile of happy greeting.

Our Sunday school, dear Sunday school,
With purest pleasure glowing,
Where tranquil peace and holy joy
Are like a river flowing.

2. Away, away to Sunday school,
And learn the songs of gladness,
That tell of Him whose tender love
Will banish care and sadness. [Refrain]

3. God bless our school, our teachers all,
And bind our souls together
In sacred bonds of kindred love
No earthly power can sever. [Refrain]
