Christ, the Teacher, cometh. [Christ the Teacher.] The earliest date to which we have traced this hymn is 1880, in W. E. Stevenson's Baptist School Hymnal, where it is given as from a S. Scholar's Hymn Book. It has been repeated in several later collections, and usually as Anon. [Rev. James Mearns, M.A.]
