Eterne ĉe l' Sinjoro

Representative Text

1. "Eterne ĉe l' Sinjor'!"
Amen'! ĉar tiu vort'
promeson donas al la kor'
pri vivo post la mort'.
Dum tera pilgrimad'
fremdule vagas mi:
sed proksimiĝas ĉiam pli
al hejmo kaj al Di'.

2. Ho hejmo de l' anim'!
Oftege, en vizi',
la pordojn viajn en proksim'
mi vidas antaŭ mi.
Al tiu hel-vidaĵ'
sopiras mia kor':
Jerusalemo, heredaĵ'
de lumo kaj de glor'.

3. De temp' al tempo ĝin
kaŝadas nubegar',
kaj, kiel la kolombojn, min
timigas venta mar'.
Sed pasas la malhel';
alvenas bel-veter';
profetas arko sur ĉiel'
pri paco kaj esper'.

4. Kaj kiam venos fin',
en tago kiu ajn,
mortante, morton venkos mi,
per nova vivo-gajn'.
En releviĝa hor'
eksonos venko-kri':
Denove, "Ĉiam ĉe l' Sinjor'!"
"Amen'!" respondos mi.
