Father, now the day is over. E. B. [Evening.] Originally published for private circulation, and then included with other pieces by the same writer, in Rev. R. Crompton Jones's Unitarian Hymns of Duty and Faith, 1872, in 7 stanzas of 6 lines. In 1884 it was included in Border's Congregational Hymns, in 5 stanzas. The writer, E. B. (a lady), desires to remain unknown.
