Perfect Praise in Heaven

Representative Text

1 Heavenly Father, sov’reign Lord,
Be thy glorious name adored;
Lord, thy mercies never fail,
Hail, celestial goodness, hail.

Refrain:
Lord, thy mercies never fail,
Hail, celestial goodness, hail!
Be thy glorious name adored,
Heavenly Father, sovereign Lord.

2 Tho’ unworthy, Lord, thine ear,
Deign our humble songs to hear;
Purer praise we hope to bring
When around thy throne we sing. [Refrain]

3 While on earth ordained to stay,
Guide our footsteps in thy way;
Till we come to dwell with thee,
Till we all thy glory see. [Refrain]
