Representative Text

1 I am trusting in the Saviour,
Who for me the winepress trod,
Who upon the dreary mountain,
Shed for me His precious blood.

Refrain:
Trusting, resting and believing,
In the merciful and just,
Hallelujah! He redeem’d me,
And I know in whom I trust.

2 Trusting in my blessed Saviour,
Who for me so kindly cares;
Ever present friend in trouble,
As the sacred Word declares. [Refrain]

3 I am dwelling in the shadow
Of his dear protecting wing;
And I love to sing the praises
Of my Prophet, Priest and King. [Refrain]

4 Friends and brothers, will you trust Him,
Who has done so much for me?
Will you come to my Redeemer
For salvation full and free? [Refrain]
