I will hear what the Lord has to sayTranslator: The Grail
Tune: [Dona nobis pacem, Domine]
Published in 2 hymnals
Dona nobis pacem. Dona nobis pacem.
1 I will hear what the Lord has to say;
a voice that speaks of peace,
peace for his people and peace for his friends,
and peace for those who turn to him in their hearts.
2 His help is near for those who adore him;
his glory will dwell in our land.
3 Mercy and faithfulness have met;
justice and peace have embraced.
Faithfulness shall spring from the earth
and justice look down from heaven.
4 The Lord will grant us his joy
and our earth shall yield its fruit.
Justice shall walk before him
and peace shall follow his steps.
