Ruth C. (Carolyn) Duck is Professor of Worship at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois. Dr. Duck received her ThD in Theology and Liturgy from Boston University School of Theology in 1989. Her primary research interests include baptism, liturgical healing, liturgy and culture, and feminist study of liturgy. She was the President of the North American Academy of Liturgy in 2007 and served on the Academy Committee, 2006-2009.
