Msalabani Pa Mwokozi

Representative Text

1 Msalabani pa Mwokozi,
Naliomba unirehemu,
Aliniondoa dhambini,
Sifa kwa Yesu!

Refrain:
Sifa kwa Yesu,
Sifa kwa Yesu, Bwanangu,
Aliniondoa dhambini,
Sifa kwa Yesu.

2 Chini ya mti naliomba,
Nisamehewe dhambi zangu,
Nalitakasika kwa damu,
Sifa kwa Yesu! [Refrain]

3 Kisima cha kububujika,
Kwangu ni youte na furaha,
Nalitakaswa kisimani,
Sifa kwa Yesu! [Refrain]

4 Karibu nyote kisimani!
Nyweni na roho itashiba,
Kiu yaisha, salamu kuu,
Sifa kwa Yesu! [Refrain]

In some hymnals, the editors noted that a hymn's author is unknown to them, and so this artificial "person" entry is used to reflect that fact.
