Now let us rise and hymn the grace

Full Text

1 Now let us rise and hymn the grace
that brings us to this time and place.
Full dedication here is owed
the riches that our past bestowed:
God, in this time your church renew;
enable us your will to do.

2 That we may open love’s embrace
to welcome all the human race,
here let no walls of hate divide,
but let Christ’s “Peace!” alone abide.
God, help us all this dream fulfill;
enable us to do your will.

3 Rejoicing let us take this “Peace!”
Into the world that we increase
Christ’s reign of justice, truth, and love
that heaven come on earth, and of
this blessing we, with grace anew,
still seek God’s will to know and do.
