Author: William Watkins Reid

William Watkins Reid, Jr. (b. 1923) is a native of New York City. The son of an hymnodist he did his undergraduate work at Oberlin College and received the (BDIV) degree from Yale Divinity School. He served as a Medic in the second war and ended the war as a POW in Germany. When he returned to this country he pastored Methodist churches in North Dakota and Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. A number of his hymns are controlled by The Hymn Society in the United States and Canada which is represented by The Hope Publishing Company.
