Oíd un son en alta esfera

Representative Text

1 Se oye un son en alta esfera:
"¡En los cielos gloria a Dios,
y al mortal paz en la tierra!"
canta la celeste voz.
Con los cielos alabemos,
al eterno Dios cantemos,
a Jesús, que es nuestro bien,
con el coro de Belén;
Canta la celeste voz:
"¡En los cielos gloria a Dios!"

2 El Señor de los señores,
el ungido celestial,
por salvar los pecadores
vino en forma corporal.
¡Gloria al Verbo revelado,
que en lo humano es encarnado!
¡Gloria a nuestro Redentor,
a Jesús, Rey y Señor!
Canta la celeste voz:
"¡En los cielos gloria a Dios!"

3 Gloria al Rey de paz eterna
gloria demos a Jesús.
Con su vida y con su muerte
nos ofrece vida y luz.
Ha su majestad dejado,
y buscarnos se ha dignado;
para darnos el vivir,
a la cruz fue a morir.
Canta la celeste voz:
"¡En los cielos gloria a Dios!"
