Jacob Arrhenius, born 31 October 1642 in Linköping, died April 13, 1725 on his farm Hembringe, was a Swedish professor of history, rector of Uppsala University. For posterity's Arrhenius best known as the psalmist.
Jacob Arrhenius was the son of Arvid Klasson Kapfelman who was acting in Linköping and his wife Ingrid Björnsdotter. As a twenty-year was entered Jacob Arrhenius at Uppsala University , where he became prominent as a good student but also ruthless.
