1 Remember in youth thy Creator,
Give heed to the voice of His word;
For happy are they who believe Him,
And trust in the arm of the Lord.

Remember in youth thy Creator;
How gentle His goodness and care;
The best of His blessings He offers,
The gift of His love you may share.

2 Remember in youth thy Creator,
Ere days that are evil draw nigh,
And years that afford us no pleasure
Shall chase the bright beams from our sky. [Refrain]

3 He claims our affection in childhood,
He offers the gift of His love;
O then let us earnestly seek Him,
And lay up our treasure above. [Refrain]

4 Remember in youth thy Creator,
And then, should we live to grow old,
We'll never regret that so early
We found blessed rest in His fold. [Refrain]
